Part Spout for VNyan
A downloadable plugin for Windows
Part Spout is a VNyan plugin that sends any part of your avatar, like a tail, ears, wings or a prop, to its own Spout source, with transparency and lined up with the rest of you.
Made for kigu collabs: add the part under More sources and your partners get it as its own layer above you. Turn on Rest output and send the rest of you as its own layer too, and the two stack in any order: the tail can go behind everyone while your body stays in front, and it still hides behind you or swings in front at any angle. In OBS, use it to add effects to just the part or put your scene between you and it.
Pick a bone and everything under it is included, even when the tail is part of the body mesh. The part is cut where your body is in front of it, so it shows in front of you when it swings forward and hides behind you when it is behind. One switch turns it off and restores your avatar, and node graphs can flip it too.
Requirements
- VNyan 1.6 or newer on Windows (tested with 1.7.2d)
- kigu, or a Spout2 capture plugin for OBS
- A VRM avatar, or a .vsfavatar exported with Read/Write enabled (otherwise whole meshes only)
